Tough Bloke Challenge

ASCEND is proud to announce we will be sponsoring the Tough Bloke Challenge on July 3rd this year!

This awesome event, brought to you by Maximum Adventure, combines cross country running, man made and natural obstacles, water crossings and more! It will be held at the Cataract Scout Park in Appin, NSW.

The event covers about 6km of trail running and includes obstacles such as the Tyre Swing, Log Wall, Cargo Net and The Tube (not for the claustrophobic!).

"Running is the core discipline of the Tough Bloke Challenge but competitors should be prepared for anything ... and don't expect to be clean when you come out on the other side – the taste of mud and sweat will be familiar by the end of the day" says Gary Farebrother, Race Director.

Despite the name, the event is also open to females. In fact, the female winner of the recent Victorian event, Kristine Banks-Smith, came second overall! She’ll be back at the NSW event to throw down the challenge to all the male competitors.

The event is already 80% full, and with an expected turn out of 1000 it’s sure to be a massive day!

ASCEND will be there with giveaways, prizes and more, so come down and check out our display!
